2025 Prep Enrolments

To start primary school your child must turn 5 years of age, or older, by April 30th of the year they will start school.

Enrolling at Carwatha College P-12

The Department of Education has released a new statewide Prep enrolment timeline.

The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Prep at a Victorian government primary school. Including Carwatha College P-12.

The new timeline will apply for children starting Prep in 2025. All government primary schools will follow the new timeline in 2024 to support Foundation enrolments for the 2025 school year.
